The AquaChek Salt Test Strips have been specially developed for measuring the salt content in swimming pool and spa water. The strips measure the concentration of sodium chloride (salt) and have a measuring range of 400 to 7,000 ppm. This makes them particularly suitable for swimming pools and spas that use a salt electrolysis system.

Easily check the salt content

In a swimming pool with salt electrolysis, the system uses the salt present in the water to produce chlorine. A suitable salt level is therefore important for the correct operation of the system. With the AquaChek strips, you can regularly check whether the salt concentration is within the range prescribed by the manufacturer of your salt electrolysis system.

Measuring range of 400 to 7,000 ppm

The test strips measure salt as sodium chloride within a range of 400 to 7,000 ppm (mg/l). This means they can be used for various saltwater systems. The ideal salt content varies depending on the salt electrolysis system; always follow the instructions of the manufacturer of the system in question.

Easy to use without a digital tester

You do not need any electronic equipment or batteries for measuring. Take a small amount of swimming pool water in a clean container and place the lower part of the test strip in the water. Then read the strip using the salt concentration chart on the packaging. AquaChek uses capillary action to determine the salt concentration.

10 separate salt measurements

One package contains 10 test strips, allowing you to check the salt content ten times. Regular testing is especially useful after refilling or refreshing the water and when you suspect changes in the salt content.
