Pond Air Pump 250 KII - FUJIMAC

The FUJIMAC 250 KII is a powerful pond air pump for installations that require a large volume of air. With a rated capacity of 250 litres per minute, equivalent to 15,000 litres per hour, this model is suitable for aerating large ponds, aerated bottom drains and biological filters. The pump was developed and manufactured in Japan.

The FUJIMAC uses synthetic rubber (EPDM) diaphragms. The design limits internal heat generation, which contributes to the durability of the diaphragms. The sturdy housing and replaceable maintenance parts make the pump suitable for pond installations that are in continuous use.

For ponds and filters

You can direct the airflow to multiple aeration points using a suitable hose or air distributor. Think of air stones in the pond, an aerated bottom drain or a moving filter bed. The amount of air that reaches each point depends on the water depth, the length and diameter of the hoses and the resistance of the air distributors used. When assembling the installation, take into account the working pressure of 20 kPa and the outlet of 20 mm internal diameter / 26 mm external diameter.

Placement and maintenance

Place the FUJIMAC 250 KII level on a stable, dry and dust-free location, protected from rain and splashing water. Place the pump above the water level to prevent water from flowing back through the air hose. Also ensure that the hoses are not kinked and the air stones remain clear, so that the pump can deliver air.

Clean the air filter every three to four months. The air filter and the diaphragms are replaceable; also check the diaphragms when the air output noticeably decreases. The pump has an automatic shut-off function that activates when a diaphragm or part of the compression chamber is damaged.
