This Colombo set contains products that will help you restart your pond. First, it is important to measure the parameters of your pond water, especially in spring, because rainwater, falling branches, and leaves can make your water too acidic. That is why this set includes the Colombo Water Test Lab, which measures the 6 most important water parameters: pH, GH, KH, NO2, NO3, and NH3. This allows you to know exactly which parameters are good and which need to be adjusted. It also includes 1L of Bactoplus Filter Start, which adds bacteria to get the biological processes in your pond back up and running and keep them going. With the help of oxygen, both types of bacteria multiply quickly and can remove ammonia and nitrite from the pond in a short period. This set also includes GH+ and KH+ (1L each). GH+ ensures the correct total hardness, which is a prerequisite for clear water. GH measures the amount of dissolved minerals in your water, which your plants and fish need. KH+ is important for a stable acidity level (pH). If the KH is too low, the pH level can fluctuate rapidly, which is very harmful to pond life.
