The Lighttech T5 40-watt UV-C replacement lamp is suitable for pond owners who want their UV-C unit to perform optimally again. The powerful UV-C radiation effectively targets suspended algae and unwanted microorganisms. This helps keep the pond clear and contributes to a more stable environment for fish and plants.

The lamp is intended as a replacement part for compatible UV-C devices with a T5 fitting and a power output of 40 watts. Pay close attention to the correct version, as Lighttech T5 40W lamps are available in several lengths and base/fitting variants. The common version with a white base has a length of approximately 84.8 cm including pins.

Although the lamp may still visibly emit light after a long period, its UV-C power gradually decreases. For reliable control of green water and suspended algae, it is advisable to replace the lamp annually or after the specified number of operating hours.
