Pond Vac - Superfish

The SuperFish Pond Vac is a compact pond vacuum that makes it easy to remove dirt from the bottom and walls of the pond. With a pump capacity of 4,000 litres per hour, dirt is sucked up along with the pond water and discharged through the included hose.

Weighing just 3.8 kg, the Pond Vac is easy to handle. The handle is 1.8 metres long, while the 10-metre power cable provides ample freedom of movement around the pond.

Cleaning the pond bottom and walls

With the Pond Vac, you can remove accumulated organic dirt from the bottom and walls before a thick layer of dirt forms. SuperFish recommends using the vacuum regularly and, for example, combining this with a partial water change.

The device also features stainless steel blades that reduce the size of sucked-up dirt particles before they are discharged.

Powerful 4,000 l/h pump

The integrated pump has a power of 80 watts and a maximum capacity of 4,000 litres per hour. This allows the dirty water to be discharged directly from the pond.

The Pond Vac therefore works differently than a traditional wet/dry vacuum with a collection tank: the sucked-up pond water is pumped directly away via the discharge hose.

5-metre hose

The included hose is 5 metres long and has a diameter of 32 mm. This allows you to discharge the removed pond water at some distance from the pond. SuperFish suggests that the discharged pond water can, for example, be used to water garden plants.

Includes 3 suction nozzles

The Pond Vac comes with three different suction nozzles, allowing you to adapt the vacuum to the area you want to clean. The combination of the 1.8-metre handle and various suction nozzles makes it easier to reach both the bottom and the walls.

Important when using

Do not run the Pond Vac dry for more than one minute. Without water, the device can become hot and the pump and rotor may be damaged. After use, SuperFish recommends cleaning the device thoroughly and storing it dry.

The official SuperFish catalogue also states that the Pond Vac is not suitable for ponds with a gravel or substrate bottom.
