Air-box 4 - Superfish

The SuperFish Air-Box 4 is a complete aeration set that allows you to easily add extra oxygen and water movement to the pond. The air pump has a maximum capacity of 600 liters per hour and features 4 outlets, allowing you to aerate multiple places in the pond at the same time.

The great advantage of the Air-Box is that the air pump is supplied in a practical protective box against rain and splashing water. This makes the set suitable for placement by the pond, while the pump itself remains protected from direct weather conditions.

Complete set with 4 air stones

The Air-Box 4 is supplied complete with 4 air stones of Ø20 mm and a total of 30 meters of air hose, divided into 4 hoses of 7.5 meters. This allows you to distribute the air over different areas of the pond. A spare diaphragm is also included.

600 liters of air per hour

With a maximum air capacity of 600 liters per hour, the Air-Box 4 is the most powerful version in the Air-Box series. The pump has four separate air outlets and a specified pressure of 0.012 MPa. The power consumption is 10 watts according to the SuperFish technical table.

Extra oxygen during warm periods

Especially during warm summer days, the oxygen level in the pond water can drop. Extra aeration creates movement on the water surface and supports oxygen exchange. This is beneficial for fish and for the biological processes in the pond and the filter.

SuperFish therefore recommends using the Air-Box to supply the pond with sufficient oxygen during the warm months.

Also useful during the winter

Pond aeration can also be useful in winter. The air bubbles create movement on the water surface and can help keep part of the pond surface ice-free during frost.

Protective Air-Box

An air pump must be kept dry. Therefore, the pump of this set is in a special box that offers protection against rain and splashing water. This makes it easier to neatly install the aeration pump by the pond.
