SPE-500 side mount sand filter 12m³ - W'eau

A refreshing dip in your own backyard is the perfect way to cool off on a warm summer day. Keeping your pool water clean can be quite a task, however, and often requires a little extra help. With a W’eau SPE-500 sand filter, you can keep your pool water crystal clear, so you can enjoy a refreshing swim every day! The W’eau SPE filter tanks are made from high-quality polyethylene (plastic) and are therefore exceptionally robust. They withstand various weather conditions, high pressure, and heavy-duty use. The W’eau SPE is suitable for both above-ground and in-ground pools with a maximum capacity of 48,000 litres. This sand filter thoroughly cleans your pool water with fine filtration of 25–30 microns.

Efficient filtration thanks to the side-mount design The W’eau SPE sand filter is a side-mount filter. Unlike TPE sand filters (top-mount), the 6-way valve of a side-mount sand filter tank is located on the side of the filter rather than on top. This distributes the water more evenly across the entire sand bed, resulting in more efficient and effective filtration. A sand filter with a side-mount connection is also easier to maintain, thanks in part to the air vent and transparent filter cover, which allows you to inspect the filter without opening it. Handy!

With a 6-way valve The W’eau SPE filter features a convenient 6-way valve. This means the filter has six different settings:

1. Filter: water flows from top to bottom through the filter tank (99% of the time).
2. Backwash: water flows from bottom to top through the filter tank to flush out the filter media (when you notice reduced filtration or flow).
3. Rinse: flush out dirty water after backwashing.
4. Close: all inlets and outlets are closed.
5. Waste: drain the pool water directly into the sewer.
6. Circulate: this is particularly useful when dealing with green water that needs treatment.
