pH minus granules 5kg - HRS

The HRS pH Minus Granules 5 kg is intended for lowering an excessively high pH level in pool water. HRS states that the ideal pH level for this product is 7.0 to 7.4. When a water test shows that the pH is too high, the granules can be used to lower this level in a controlled manner.

Fast-dissolving granules

HRS pH Minus dissolves quickly and should first be dissolved in a bucket of warm water before use. It is important to add the product to the water and not the other way around. The solution can then be distributed over the pool water.

For a proper pH balance

A correct pH level is important for the water balance and the effectiveness of the rest of the water treatment. The required amount of pH Minus also depends on the hardness of the pool water.

As a guideline, HRS states that 40 to 100 grams per 10 m³ of pool water lowers the pH level by approximately 0.1. Therefore, measure the water first and check the pH again after treatment.

Also for lowering the TA level

In addition to lowering the pH, HRS states that these granules can also be used to lower the total alkalinity (TA). Because the correct dosage depends on the current water levels, we recommend following the instructions on the current packaging.

Large 5 kg package

This version contains 5 kg of pH Minus Granules. HRS also offers the same product in a 1 kg package. The 5 kg bucket is therefore practical for larger pools or when regular pH corrections are needed.
