The AquaForte membrane for the Hi-Flow V60 air pump is an important replacement part for maintaining older Hi-Flow V60 air pumps. This version is specifically suitable for Hi-Flow V60 models from before October 2010.

The membrane is round with a diameter of approximately 62 mm. It plays an important role in producing a stable and even airflow. With prolonged use, the membrane can wear out, causing the pump's airflow to decrease. By replacing the membranes in a timely manner, you help the air pump continue to function efficiently and reliably.

Please note: the price is per piece. Two membranes must be replaced for the Hi-Flow V60. Therefore, order 2 pieces for a complete replacement.

Specially for Hi-Flow V60 models up to October 2010

There are different versions of the AquaForte Hi-Flow V60. This membrane with a diameter of approximately 62 mm is intended for the older V60 air pumps from before October 2010.

Different parts are used for newer versions of the Hi-Flow V60. Therefore, check carefully which version of the air pump you have before ordering.

Important part of the air pump

The membrane is constantly moved during the operation of the air pump. This movement is necessary to draw in air and then transport it to the connected aeration system.

Due to the continuous mechanical stress, a membrane is subject to natural wear and tear. As the membrane gets older, its flexibility may decrease. This can cause the air pump to produce less air or the airflow to become less even.

Replacing the membranes in a timely manner helps maintain the performance of the Hi-Flow V60.

Replace both membranes

The Hi-Flow V60 uses two membranes. When performing maintenance, it is recommended to replace both membranes at the same time. This way, both parts are in the same condition and the air pump can function optimally again.

However, this product is sold per piece. To completely replace the membranes in one Hi-Flow V60 air pump, you must therefore order 2 pieces.

For a stable air supply

A properly functioning Hi-Flow V60 can be used for aerating ponds and other water systems. The produced air is guided through air hoses to, for example, air stones, aeration discs, or other air distributors.

A constant air supply supports oxygen exchange in the water and provides extra water movement. Aeration can also play an important role within certain biological filter systems.

When the membranes wear out, the airflow may decrease. Timely replacement helps maintain a stable air supply.

Maintenance of the Hi-Flow V60

Membranes are wear parts and should therefore be checked regularly. If you notice that the air pump produces less air than before, worn membranes may be one of the possible causes.

When replacing the membranes, it is wise to also check the other internal wear parts, including the air chambers. This way, the air pump can be specifically maintained without having to replace the entire pump immediately.
