Coarse filter glass 20kg - W'eau

W’eau Coarse Filter Glass – 20 kg is a powerful and durable filter medium specially developed as an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional filter sand. It consists of green, recycled glass and has a coarse grain structure of 1.0 to 3.0 mm (Grade 2), making it ideal for the bottom filter layer in multi-layer filter systems or for filters that process coarser debris.

Thanks to its porous and angular structure, filter glass offers more effective filtration than sand, with higher dirt retention and improved flow. Furthermore, you only need 80% of the quantity compared to sand, making its use more economical.

With a lifespan of approximately 10 years, W’eau filter glass is also particularly easy to maintain. The material is resistant to bacterial growth and calcification, resulting in fewer backwashes and better preservation of water quality.
