Filter cartridge SC706 Spafilter - Darlly

The Darlly SC706 Filter Cartridge is a high-quality replacement filter cartridge for spas and hot tubs. The filter is an important part of the circulation and filtration system and helps keep the spa water clean and clear.

During the use of a spa, contaminants constantly enter the water. This includes hair, skin particles, dust, and other fine debris brought in by users or from the surroundings. When the water is circulated through the filtration system, it flows through the Darlly SC706. The filter material captures a large portion of these dirt particles before the water flows back into the spa.

Large filter surface

The SC706 features pleated filter material. The many individual pleats ensure that a large effective filter surface is available within a compact cartridge. This allows the water to be filtered efficiently while dirt collects between and on the pleats.

A large filter surface also ensures a good distribution of the water over the filter material. This allows the cartridge to collect dirt for a longer period before cleaning becomes necessary. The actual cleaning frequency depends on usage and water quality.

Supports good water quality

A filter cartridge works together with the other components of the spa water system. Water treatment chemicals maintain the chemical balance of the water, while the SC706 is responsible for a major part of the mechanical filtration.

By removing suspended dirt particles from the water, the cartridge helps keep the water clear and prevents larger amounts of dirt from continuing to circulate through the system.

Regular cleaning

To maintain the performance of the Darlly SC706 as effectively as possible, regular cleaning is important. As more dirt collects between the filter pleats, the resistance of the cartridge increases. This can eventually reduce the water flow.

Therefore, remove the filter from the spa regularly and rinse it thoroughly clean. Pay particular attention to the spaces between the pleats, as dirt can easily accumulate there.

With intensive use of the spa, it may be necessary to clean the cartridge more frequently. This includes situations where the spa is used daily or by multiple people.

Reusable filter cartridge

The SC706 does not need to be replaced immediately as soon as it is dirty. The cartridge is designed to be cleaned and reused multiple times. Good maintenance can therefore contribute to a longer service life of the filter.

It can be practical to have an extra filter cartridge available. While one filter is thoroughly cleaned, the other cartridge can be placed in the spa. This means the filtration system does not have to operate without a filter for longer than necessary.

When to replace the SC706?

Over time, the filter material will wear out and the filtration capacity may decrease. Dirt can also become embedded deeper in the filter material, making the cartridge impossible to clean completely despite thorough cleaning.

Replacement is recommended when the filter material becomes damaged, the pleats become deformed, the cartridge remains heavily soiled, or when the water flow does not improve sufficiently after cleaning.

With a new Darlly SC706 filter cartridge, the filtration capacity of the system can be restored.
