Aquaforte Submersible UV-C Amalgam 80 Watt – Powerful, resistance-free disinfection for large ponds up to 60 m³

The Aquaforte Submersible UV-C Amalgam 80 Watt is a powerful and efficient UV-C disinfection unit, designed for professional and intensive applications in pond installations. Thanks to the use of amalgam technology, this submersible UV is more powerful and durable than conventional UV lamps. The lamp has a lifespan of no less than 16,000 hours and delivers consistent performance, even during prolonged use.

A unique advantage of this submersible UV is its resistance-free design. The lamp is placed directly in the water, for example in a vortex or screen filter, without the water having to flow through an enclosed housing. This allows the system to maintain maximum flow, ideal in combination with airlift systems or energy-efficient filters.

The submersible unit is supplied as a 3-piece set, consisting of:

An 80-watt amalgam UV lamp (length approx. 67 cm without handle, approx. 80 cm including handle)
A quartz glass tube to protect the lamp
A power supply unit with a 3-meter cable (without plug)

This lamp is supplied without a plug and is intended as an industrial product, which means that careful installation and adherence to safety guidelines are essential. The lamp is equipped with a Ø32 mm lamp socket and can be attached with standard 32 mm pipe clamps or in a housing with an optionally available pass-through (pre-drilled Ø 48 mm, 1½" thread).

Systems where minimal flow resistance is desired

Important installation and safety instructions:

Only the lamp + cable may be underwater; the power supply and connectors must remain dry.
Always switch on the lamp underwater to prevent overheating.
Protect yourself from direct UVC radiation with safety goggles or shielding.
Only connect to a grounded outlet with a 30mA residual current circuit breaker.
Not suitable for placement directly in ponds with fish.
