Submersible UV-C 40 Watt T5 – Resistance-free UV disinfection for clear and healthy pond water

The Submersible UV-C 40 Watt T5 is a powerful and durable solution for effective disinfection of pond water, specially developed for installation without flow resistance. Unlike conventional UV-C units, this submersible lamp is placed directly in a filter housing – such as a vortex or screen filter – allowing the water to flow freely past the lamp while still being thoroughly treated with UV-C radiation.

This unit uses a 40-watt T5 UV-C lamp, with a UV output of 15 watts, ensuring effective control of algae, bacteria, and pathogens. Thanks to its resistance-free design, this lamp is ideal for use in airlift systems, where pressure loss must be avoided.

The submersible UV-C unit is supplied as a complete 3-piece set, consisting of:

A 40-watt T5 UV-C lamp
A protective quartz glass
A power supply unit with a 3-meter cable (without plug)

The lamp has an service life of approx. 8000 hours and a total length of approx. 67 cm. The Ø32 mm lamp base with a red foot is compatible with standard tube clamps. Optionally, a through-hull fitting is available to securely mount the lamp in a housing (drill hole ±48 mm, 1½" thread).
