Submersible UV 48W Amalgam with Ballast Day Counter - Aquafiltrix

The Aquafiltrix Submersible UV 48W Amalgam with Ballast Day Counter is a complete and powerful UV-C solution for keeping ponds and other water systems clear and hygienic. This set consists of a professional 48W Amalgam UV-C submersible lamp and a matching ballast with an integrated digital day counter. This gives you the right combination immediately and allows you to easily keep track of how long the UV-C lamp has been in use.

Thanks to the high-quality Amalgam UV-C technology, the lamp delivers a powerful and long-lasting UV-C output. The UV-C light helps to combat suspended algae, bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms in the water. This supports the filter system in maintaining clear and hygienic water without the need to add extra chemicals to the water.

Buy as a complete set and save 5%

Choose the complete combination of the Aquafiltrix 48W Amalgam submersible lamp and ballast with digital day counter and enjoy 5% savings compared to purchasing both components separately.

This not only saves you money but also gives you an immediate complete combination of a lamp and matching control unit.

Includes ballast with digital day counter

This version stands out due to the included ballast with an integrated digital day counter. This allows you to easily keep track of the operating time of the UV-C lamp.

This is important because a UV-C lamp can still appear to be lit after prolonged use, while the effective amount of UV-C radiation gradually decreases. Therefore, it is not always possible to tell from the outside when the lamp needs to be replaced.

The digital day counter gives you more control over maintenance and makes it easier to plan the replacement of the lamp in good time.

Powerful 48W Amalgam UV-C technology

The Aquafiltrix submersible lamp uses Amalgam UV-C technology. This technology was developed for applications requiring a powerful, stable, and long-lasting UV-C output.

With a power of 48 watts, this version provides a powerful solution for ponds and water systems where a 33W version does not offer sufficient capacity, but a more powerful installation is not necessary.

The UV-C light produced helps to combat, among other things:

• Suspended algae

• Bacteria

• Viruses

• Other microorganisms

This allows the lamp to support existing filtration and contribute to clear and hygienic water.

Direct UV-C treatment in the water system

An important advantage of a submersible UV-C lamp is the way it can be installed. Instead of routing the water through a separate UV-C housing, the lamp is placed directly in a suitable filter chamber, tank, or other water application.

The flowing water is therefore directly exposed to the UV-C light. This makes the Aquafiltrix Submersible UV flexible for use in a variety of filter installations.

The 48W version can be used for, among other things:

• Koi ponds

• Swimming ponds

• Ornamental ponds

• Drum filters

• Filter chambers

• Storage tanks

• Water treatment systems

• Industrial water applications

High-quality quartz glass

The Aquafiltrix 48W Amalgam submersible lamp is equipped with high-quality quartz glass. This material has excellent UV transmission, allowing the produced UV-C radiation to be efficiently delivered to the surrounding water.

This makes optimal use of the lamp's UV-C output and makes the system suitable for long-term and intensive use.

Approximately 13,000 operating hours

The 48W Amalgam UV-C lamp has a lifespan of approximately 13,000 operating hours. This long lifespan makes this version particularly attractive for water systems that are operational for long periods.

Thanks to the included digital day counter, you can easily monitor the operating time. This makes it easier to plan maintenance and future replacement of the UV-C lamp in good time.

Flexible and waterproof installation

The submersible lamp is equipped with a long connection cable and an IP68 waterproof connection. This allows the lamp to be flexibly mounted in a suitable filter or water installation.

The included ballast provides the correct electrical control for the Amalgam UV-C lamp. The ballast itself must be mounted in a suitable, dry, and safe location in accordance with the installation instructions.
