CTP-10.000 pond pump - AquaForte

The AquaForte CTP-10.000 is a powerful and energy-efficient pond pump for circulating and pumping large volumes of water. With a maximum capacity of 10,000 liters per hour, this pump is suitable for pond filters, water circulation, stream loops, and other installations where water needs to be continuously moved.

An important advantage of the CTP series is its versatile placement. The CTP-10.000 can be installed either underwater or dry. This allows the pump to be integrated into a pond or filter system in various ways.

Capacity of 10,000 liters per hour

The maximum pump capacity is 10,000 liters per hour. This capacity is achieved under optimal conditions with minimal pipe resistance.

In an actual pond installation, the output is usually lower. Height differences, hose and pipe diameters, bends, couplings, and filter equipment all create resistance. Keep this in mind when determining the required pump capacity.

Maximum lift height of 6 meters

The AquaForte CTP-10.000 has a maximum lift height of 6 meters. This means the pump can also be used in installations where water needs to be moved over a significant height difference.

The maximum lift height does not mean that the pump still delivers 10,000 liters per hour at a height of 6 meters. As the height difference and resistance increase, the actual water output decreases.

Energy-efficient pump technology

Despite its high water output, the CTP-10.000 has a relatively low energy consumption. The pump has a power consumption of approximately 80 watts.

This makes the CTP series attractive for pond installations where the pump is used for long periods or continuously.

Suitable for wet and dry installation

The CTP-10.000 can be submerged in the pond water, but can also be installed outside the water.

In a dry installation, the pump must always be placed below the water level so that the water can flow into the pump by gravity. The pump is not self-priming and must never run without water.

This option makes the pump suitable for a wide range of pond and filter installations.

Handles debris up to 6 mm

The AquaForte CTP-10.000 can handle debris up to approximately 6 mm. Small debris particles can therefore be transported along with the pond water to a connected filter system.

The large filter basket around the pump catches larger particles and protects the impeller against coarse debris. Thanks to the relatively large surface area of the basket, it is less likely to become completely clogged.

Ceramic shaft

The pump is equipped with a wear-resistant ceramic shaft. Ceramic is suitable for long-term use in water and is widely used in pond and aquarium pumps.

In addition, the pump contains no copper elements that come into direct contact with the water. This means the CTP series can also be used in suitable saltwater installations.

Various connection options

The CTP-10.000 offers connection options for various pipe and hose diameters. Depending on the installation, connections of approximately 25, 32, 40, and 50 mm can be used.

For the highest possible water output, it is recommended to use a large pipe diameter wherever possible. A hose or pipe that is too small creates extra resistance and reduces the effective capacity of the pump.

Compact size

Despite its capacity of 10,000 liters per hour, the CTP-10.000 remains relatively compact. The pump measures approximately 208 × 138 × 158 mm.

This means the pump can also be used in situations where the available space around the filter or pond is limited.

For filters and water circulation

The CTP-10.000 is highly versatile. The pump can, for example, be used to transport pond water to an external filter, for general water circulation, or to feed a stream loop or water feature.

When installing a stream loop or waterfall, it is important to take into account both the desired amount of water and the total height difference beforehand.

Maintenance

Regularly check the pump for leaves, string algae, sludge, and other debris. The filter basket and rotor, in particular, must remain sufficiently clean to maintain the water output.

Always switch off the power supply before performing maintenance on the pump. If there is a noticeable decrease in water output, it is advisable to first check the pump, rotor, filter basket, and connected pipes for debris or blockages.
