CTF-2.800 pond pump - AquaForte

The AquaForte CTF-2.800 is a compact and energy-efficient pond pump for circulating and pumping pond water. With a maximum capacity of 3,000 litres per hour and an energy consumption of just 10 watts, this model is particularly suitable for smaller ponds, filter systems, small streams, and other applications where water needs to be continuously moved.

Under ideal conditions, the CTF-2.800 delivers a maximum water output of 3,000 litres per hour. The actual capacity in a pond system depends on the resistance in the system.

Height differences, long hoses, bends, couplings and other components reduce the final water output. When selecting the pump, it is therefore important to take into account not only the maximum capacity but also the required lift height and the layout of the system.

Just 10 watts of energy consumption

An important feature of the CTF-2.800 is its low power consumption. The pump uses just 10 watts.

Because a pond pump often runs for extended periods or continuously during the season, low energy consumption can be a major advantage. The CTF series has therefore been developed to combine water circulation with relatively low power consumption.

Maximum lift height of 2 metres

The maximum lift height of the AquaForte CTF-2.800 is 2 metres. This is the maximum static height the pump can overcome.

As the lift height increases, the actual water output decreases. For applications with a large height difference or significant pipe resistance, a more powerful pump from the CTF series may therefore be required.

Handles debris up to 6 mm

The pump's design allows it to handle debris up to approximately 6 mm. Small pieces of debris from the pond can therefore be carried with the water to a connected filter system.

This makes the pump suitable as a filter pump for a pond. The pump cage provides the first layer of protection against larger particles that should not be drawn into the pump.

For filters, circulation and small streams

The AquaForte CTF-2.800 can be used for various pond-related applications. The pump can transport water to an external pond filter, provide additional circulation or be used for a small stream.

When creating a stream or water feature, the height difference and the desired volume of water must be taken into account. The maximum capacity of 3,000 l/h applies at minimum resistance and decreases when the water needs to be pumped higher.

Ceramic shaft

The CTF series is equipped with a ceramic shaft. Ceramic is wear-resistant and suitable for long-term use in water. This supports stable rotor operation during prolonged pump use.

The pump has been designed for continuous use, allowing it to be used for extended periods during the pond season for water circulation or filter systems.

Hose connections

The CTF-2.800 is supplied with a hose adapter that allows various common pond hoses to be connected. The connection sizes are approximately 25, 32/33 and 38 mm.

Use the largest suitable hose diameter whenever possible. A larger hose generally creates less resistance, allowing more of the available pump capacity to reach the filter, stream, or return point.

10-metre power cable

The pump has a 10-metre power cable. This allows the CTF-2.800 to be positioned in various locations in the pond without requiring an electrical connection directly next to the pond.

Electrical installations around a pond must always be carried out in accordance with current safety regulations.

Pump maintenance

To maintain a good water output, it is important to regularly check and clean the pump. Leaves, filamentous algae, silt and other debris can accumulate around the pump cage or rotor, reducing its capacity.

Always switch off the power supply before removing the pump from the water or carrying out maintenance. Then check the pump cage and rotor and remove any accumulated debris.

Regular pump maintenance helps maintain optimal water flow.
