Coarse Biofibres 400g - Sera

Sera Biofibres Coarse 400 g is effective filter material for the biomechanical pre-filtration of aquarium water. The coarse biofibres retain larger dirt particles early in the filtration process, allowing the subsequent filter media to become clogged less quickly and better maintain their biological function.

By capturing coarse debris beforehand, this filter material supports more stable and efficient filtration. It helps reduce the load on biological filter materials and thus contributes to a clearer, healthier, and more manageable aquarium. In addition, the coarse biofibres can also be used as a bottom substrate and as a hiding place for young fish. MaJa Koi describes the product as specially designed for biomechanical pre-filtration and suitable for retaining coarse dirt particles.
