Why add MALAMIX 17 to your pond?

Every day in practice, Maarten Lammens sees sick fish with a poor slime coat (too little slime, too thick slime, poor consistency…). If the slime coat contains too few antibodies, there is a greater chance that your fish will become sick. After all, every pond contains pathogens, which more easily take hold in weaker fish. A healthy, strong slime coat forms the basis of a healthy fish. That is why it is important to regularly provide your fish with this ideal mix of immune boosters (see below) that MALAMIMIX 17 contains. These immune boosters are partly absorbed into the slime coat and partly filtered by the gills, and each by itself forms good building blocks for a good slime coat and an optimal natural defense against diseases. Furthermore, MALAMIX 17 contains nutrients/enzymes that give the filter bacteria and probiotics a boost. This improves the water quality and protects the fish preventively against hole-in-the-head disease.

When and how frequently can you add MALAMIX 17.

To obtain an optimal slime coat (read: defense), it is best to administer MALAMIX 17 preventively every two to three months from a water temperature of 8˚C. MALAMIX 17 consists of organic substances and therefore cannot be overdosed. Even after a chemical treatment against parasites or bacteria, MALAMIX 17 is the ideal remedy to quickly rebuild the slime coat and bring the water quality back up to par.

Dosage of Malamix.

The dosage of Malamix is 1 liter per 10,000 liters of water. You do not need to worry about overdosing because it contains no harmful substances.
