4x Filter foam suitable for BF biofilter medium 800/ 1000 plus - Maja Koi

This complete set of 4 high-quality filter foam pads is specially designed for use in the BF biofilter systems of the 800 and 1000 Plus models. The pads are made of durable, water-resistant foam material with an open-cell structure, ensuring optimal water flow and maximum particle retention. This makes them extremely suitable for both mechanical and biological filtration.

Mechanically, the filter foam captures larger contaminants such as leaves, sludge, fish waste, and uneaten food. This prevents these substances from accumulating and polluting the water. At the same time, the foam provides a large surface area for the colonization of beneficial bacteria that are essential for the biological breakdown of waste products such as ammonia and nitrite. This directly contributes to a healthy biological balance and clear water in pond or aquarium systems.

Using these filter foam pads not only improves water quality but also reduces the frequency of filter maintenance. They are easy to clean by rinsing them in pond or aquarium water and, depending on load and usage, last a long time without losing their effectiveness. Thanks to their perfect fit, they can be quickly and effortlessly installed in the filter housing of the BF biofilter 800 or 1000 Plus.

Whether you are an experienced pond enthusiast or have just started maintaining a biological filter system, this set of filter foam is an essential part of an effective and efficient filtration process. Suitable for both freshwater aquariums and ponds, and ideal for anyone striving for a stable ecosystem with healthy fish and plants.
