Pre-filters

AquaForte Blue Eco Pre-filter – Optimal protection for your Blue Eco pump

The AquaForte Blue Eco Pre-filter is an essential accessory for the safe and efficient use of Blue Eco pumps. This high-quality pre-filter is designed to protect the pump from damage caused by solid, sharp, or abrasive particles in the water, such as sand or gravel, which could otherwise damage the pump's sensitive components.

The Blue Eco pump is suitable for pumping clean to slightly contaminated water, and can handle fresh, salt, and seawater, provided the liquids are non-aggressive, non-explosive, and oil-free. Although the pump can withstand a certain degree of contamination, it is primarily designed for use in clean water without hard solid particles. The pump housing contains narrow openings of 1 mm or smaller, which can easily become clogged or damaged when exposed to coarse debris.

To ensure the pump's lifespan and reliability, it is therefore strongly recommended to always install a pre-filter with a filter opening between 0.2 and 0.7 mm. This prevents harmful particles from entering the pump and protects the internal bearings and impellers from wear and clogging.

Key features:

• Specially designed for use with Blue Eco pumps

• Prevents damage from sand, gravel, and other debris

• Filters out particles larger than 0.2–0.7 mm from the water

• Improves performance and extends the pump's lifespan

• Suitable for fresh, salt, and seawater

• Ideal for applications involving stream channels, waterfalls, ponds, and swimming pools

Applications:

• As pre-protection for filter systems

• In pond and swimming pool installations

• For stream channels and water features

• Suitable for installations with non-self-priming pumps

Please note: The Blue Eco pump is not self-priming, but can be placed above the water level on the suction line with a non-return valve. This makes proper placement of the pre-filter crucial for optimal operation.

The AquaForte Blue Eco Pre-filter is the best investment for anyone who wants to ensure the long-term performance and safety of their pump installation.

The Heissner Underwater Filter 5000 All-in-one Set combines several important pond functions in one compact installation. The set consists of an underwater filter, pond pump, 11-watt UV-C unit and water feature. This means that with a single system you have water circulation, mechanical filtration, UV-C treatment and a decorative water feature.

The complete filter installation is placed almost invisibly on the bottom of the pond. This makes the system ideal when you want good filtration but would rather not place a conspicuous external pond filter next to the pond.

For ponds up to 5,000 liters

Heissner recommends this filter set for ponds up to 5,000 liters. For a pond with fish, the higher load on the water must be taken into account; for this purpose, a maximum pond volume of approximately 2,500 liters is specified.

Pump with a capacity of 2,000 l/h

The integrated pond pump delivers a maximum capacity of 2,000 liters per hour and has a maximum lift height of approximately 1.8 meters. This means that the pond water is continuously guided through the filter system and a water feature can be powered at the same time.

According to Heissner, the total power consumption is 45 watts including the 11W UV-C unit.

Integrated 11W UV-C

In addition to mechanical filtration, the system has an integrated 11-watt UV-C pond clarifier. UV-C helps to tackle suspended algae in the passing water and thus supports keeping the pond clear.

The filter set also has a UV-C function control, so you can more easily check whether the UV-C unit is active.

Large filter surface

An important feature of this Heissner underwater filter is the relatively large filter housing. According to Heissner, the large filter surface ensures long intervals between cleaning. The required filter media are included with the set.

Connect water feature and pond figure

The set is delivered with a telescopic riser pipe with two water features. The riser pipe has slope compensation, so that the water feature can also be neatly adjusted when the pond bottom is not completely flat.

In addition, an adjustable connection for a pond figure or water spout is available. An interesting advantage is that, according to Heissner, you can use a fountain and a water spout at the same time.
