Spring is the time to restart your pond and prepare it for the coming season. How can you restart the pond in spring? By taking the right steps and adding special beneficial bacteria to help start up the pond, you can give the pond a helping hand during this phase and speed up a proper start-up.

This Colombo set contains products that will help you restart your pond. First, it is important to measure the parameters of your pond water, especially in spring, because rainwater, falling branches, and leaves can make your water too acidic. That is why this set includes the Colombo Water Test Lab, which measures the 6 most important water parameters: pH, GH, KH, NO2, NO3, and NH3. This allows you to know exactly which parameters are good and which need to be adjusted. It also includes 1L of Bactoplus Filter Start, which adds bacteria to get the biological processes in your pond back up and running and keep them going. With the help of oxygen, both types of bacteria multiply quickly and can remove ammonia and nitrite from the pond in a short period. This set also includes GH+ and KH+ (1L each). GH+ ensures the correct total hardness, which is a prerequisite for clear water. GH measures the amount of dissolved minerals in your water, which your plants and fish need. KH+ is important for a stable acidity level (pH). If the KH is too low, the pH level can fluctuate rapidly, which is very harmful to pond life.

This set ensures that your pond is completely ready for the new pond season!

The AquaForte GFU5000 Fountain Pump with 9-Watt UV-C combines water circulation, a decorative fountain, and UV-C in one compact solution. This makes the pump particularly suitable for smaller ponds, ornamental ponds, and water features where you want to not only create movement in the water but also help keep the pond water clear.

Integrated 9-Watt UV-C

The GFU5000 features a built-in 9-watt UV-C unit. The pond water is directed past the UV-C light, helping the pump combat suspended algae that can cause green pond water.

This allows the GFU5000 to combine the function of a fountain pump with UV-C technology without the need for a separate UV-C device.

Decorative Fountain and Water Circulation

In addition to the UV-C function, the pump creates movement and circulation in the pond water. The fountain feature also creates an attractive water effect in the pond. The movement on the water surface simultaneously contributes to a lively appearance of the pond.

The combination of multiple functions in one device makes the AquaForte GFU5000 a practical solution when you want to create a compact and simple pond system.

The Heissner black tower fountain plinth is a tall plinth that gives a patio or garden fountain extra height. This makes the water feature stand out more and easily creates a greater visual impact in the garden or on the patio.

The plinth is made of black polystone and combines a modern look with a practical design. With dimensions of approximately 35 × 35 × 71.5 cm, the tower provides a sturdy base for a suitable patio fountain.

More height for your patio fountain

By placing a fountain on this tall plinth, you raise the water feature even higher. This is particularly useful when a low patio fountain is not visible enough on its own among plants, garden furniture, or other garden decorations.

The tower shape also provides a sleek, modern look and forms a cohesive whole with a suitable fountain.

Hollow interior for concealing a reservoir

An important advantage of this Heissner plinth is its hollow interior. This allows the space inside the tower to be used to conceal, for example, a reservoir or the technical components of a suitable fountain.

This is particularly practical on a tiled patio, where it is not possible or desirable to bury a water reservoir in the ground.

Cables neatly concealed

The top features a cable grommet. This allows the fountain's power cable to be routed through the plinth, so it does not have to run visibly down the outside. This provides a much neater finish for the complete fountain setup.

Made of polystone

The current product information lists polystone as the material. This stone-like material combines a robust appearance with suitability for use as garden decoration. The black finish complements both modern and more traditional gardens.

Key points

• Tall plinth for patio and garden fountains
• Dimensions approximately 35 × 35 × 71.5 cm
• Finished in black
• Made of polystone
• Hollow interior
• Suitable for concealing a reservoir
• Ideal for tiled patios
• Equipped with a cable grommet
• Cables can be neatly concealed
• Gives a patio fountain extra height
• Sleek, modern tower shape
• Weight approximately 18 kg
