Oase AquaActiv PondLith 2.5 kg

Natural filter material for clear, healthy pond water

Oase AquaActiv PondLith is a powerful, natural filter medium based on high-quality zeolite with a grain size of 5–10 mm. Thanks to its crystalline surface, which is up to 1000 times larger than that of sand or gravel, PondLith provides an ideal environment for microorganisms to establish themselves. These microbes actively help to break down nitrogen compounds and bind ammonium and other excess nutrients.

PondLith removes important nutrients from the water that algae need, and thus effectively contributes to the prevention of algae blooms and cloudy water. It is extremely suitable as filter support during the start-up phase and provides quick relief in the event of excess ammonium.

The set contains a convenient filter basket (20 x 20 x 12 cm) with 2.5 kg of zeolite, sufficient for ponds up to 2,500 liters. The filter material remains effective for approximately 125 days.

Main benefits:

• Natural zeolite with a huge active surface area

• Binds ammonium, nitrite and other nitrogen compounds

• Removes nutrients that algae need

• Improves water quality naturally

• Includes a practical filter basket, easy to place

• Works for up to 125 days, replacement recommended after that

• Dosage:

  • 1 kg/m³ (without fish)

  • 2 kg/m³ (with fish)

  • 3 kg/m³ (for koi ponds)

Application:
Simply place the filled filter bag in the pond filter or directly in the water with good flow. Replace every 3–4 months for optimal performance.

Zeolite absorbs ammonium and other toxic substances from the pond water. It prevents algae growth and ammonia poisoning.
