Morenicol Lernex Pro 2500ml - Colombo

Morenicol Lernex Pro is developed for the treatment of
resistant worms in ornamental fish.
Lernex-Pro is based on the latest scientific knowledge and contains high-quality anthelmintics, such as Nitroscanate and Flubendazole, against which
no resistance has yet developed.
Lernex-Pro is therefore effective in the treatment of resistant skin worms (Gyrodactylus) and gill worms (Dactylogyrus).
The presence of these parasites can only be detected under a microscope.
Symptoms of an infestation with these parasites include lethargy,
flashing, and reduced appetite.
Remedy against White Spot and Fungus.

Volume calculation: Calculate the volume of the pond as accurately as possible: length x width x average depth in decimeters = volume in liters.

Water quality: For Morenicol Lernex Pro to work optimally and for sick fish to recover quickly, good water quality is essential. Therefore, always test the water quality before and after treatment and correct it where necessary.
Dosage: 1 ml per 20 liters of pond water. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated after 14 days.
Ensure good aeration so that your fish have sufficient oxygen at all times.
The required amount of Lernex-Pro can be measured out with the measuring cup provided.

This amount must be poured slowly into the pond water in a place with a lot of flow, e.g. the outlet of the pump or filter.
Do not filter through charcoal or zeolite; keep UV lamps and ozone devices switched off for up to 1 week after the last administration.

Warning: After adding Lernex-Pro, the activity of the parasites initially increases.

This irritates the fish, which may dart through the water and even jump out of the pond.
Therefore, keep a close eye on the fish during and after treatment!

For use with ornamental fish in ponds only.
Keep out of reach of children, store in the box between 4 and 32°C.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Close the lid tightly.
Wash hands after use.

Effect on other animals: Little is still known about the effect on other aquatic animals,
such as frogs and salamanders.
Pets and birds that drink from the pond with these substances in it.
As a rule, it can be stated that if fish can swim in it, it is harmless to animals that only drink from it.
Nevertheless, it is logical to provide pets (e.g. dogs and cats) that are accustomed to drinking from the pond with a bowl of water during the course of treatment.

Degradation: The substances administered will disappear on their own in ponds through natural processes, such as oxidation and degradation by bacteria.

Combinations: The effect of a combination with other substances is unknown.
Using more than 2 preparations in combination is at your own risk.

Information: Fish parasites are cold-blooded, which means that at lower temperatures, their metabolism decreases.
Below 10°C, Morenicol Lernex-Pro is insufficiently absorbed by the parasite. If possible, we advise increasing the water temperature to
improve absorption.
Skin and gill worms are flat sucking worms measuring 0.3-0.5 mm, which are now commonly found on our pond fish.
Gyrodactylus is the skin worm that is live-bearing and can therefore reproduce quickly and en masse.
By crawling on the skin, it thickens itself and creates a grey, slimy layer.
The gill worm is called Dactylogyrus and is egg-laying.
It damages and irritates the gills, causing them to thicken and no longer function properly.
The fish rub their gill covers against plants and stones.
As it worsens, they swim with open gill covers due to suffocation and can even die.
Recently, more and more cases have become known in which parasites, especially skin worms (Gyrodactylus), were resistant to widely used substances, such as triclabendazole, levamisole, fenbendazole and piperazine.
Colombo has therefore, after extensive research, found a new anthelmintic for fish that is effective against resistant worms: Nitroscanate.
Nitroscanate is effective at very low concentrations with a single administration.
To increase effectiveness and thus reduce the chance of resistance, Nitroscanate has been combined with Praziquantel and Flubendazole in a unique medicine.
