Morenicol Alparex 1000ml - Colombo

Colombo Alparex is a koi medication that is effective against invisible parasites that cause a grey veil on the fish, such as Ichthyobodo, Chilodinella and Trichodina. Symptoms of an infestation with these parasites include lethargy, rubbing, and a reduced appetite. In the case of a severe fungal infection in combination with the above-mentioned invisible parasites, Alparex is also a suitable remedy.

Water quality: For optimal effectiveness of Morenicol Alparex and a quick recovery of sick fish, good water quality is essential. Therefore, always test the water quality before and after treatment and correct where necessary. KH is particularly important: it should be between 6 and 8°dH before starting the treatment.

Dosage: The product Alparex must be administered in two steps: 1st day: 1 ml per 40 liters of pond water, i.e. 25 ml per 1000 liters of pond water. 2nd day: again 1 ml per 40 liters of pond water, i.e. 25 ml per 1000 liters of pond water. A measuring cup is included in the packaging.

Dosage for Siamese fighting fish: Siamese fighting fish may tolerate Alparex less well in some cases. At the same time, due to their hard skin, they are also less sensitive to the parasites against which Alparex is active. We therefore advise not to treat Siamese fighting fish with it, but separately with only half the dosage (2 days 1 ml per 80 liters of pond water instead of 2 days 1 ml per 40 liters). If necessary, this treatment can be repeated a third time on the third day.

Use: Measure out the required amount in the measuring cup and pre-mix it in a watering can or a bucket with water. Then distribute evenly over the pond. Do not filter through carbon or zeolite; keep UV lamps and ozone devices switched off for up to 1 week after the last administration.

Combinations: Morenicol Alparex and Cytofex Pro can be combined at full dosage. There should be at least 2 weeks between the use of Morenicol Alparex and Colombo Algadrex, Lernex and FMC-50. Combinations with other products are strictly at your own risk!
