Pond Skim 2000/3000 Replacement Sponge - Superfish

The SuperFish Pond Skim 2000/3000 replacement sponge is specially designed to replace the filter material in the SuperFish Pond Skim 2000 and Pond Skim 3000. The sponge has a coarse structure and captures debris from the water drawn in by the skimmer. SuperFish lists this sponge as a replacement part for both Pond Skim models.

Suitable for two Pond Skim models

You can use the same replacement sponge for both the SuperFish Pond Skim 2000 and the Pond Skim 3000. This means you only need to check whether you have one of these two models.

Captures debris and protects the pump

The Pond Skim draws debris from the surface of the pond. The filter sponge then helps to trap smaller and larger debris particles before they travel further towards the pump. This also helps prevent larger debris particles from reaching the rotor and blocking or damaging it.

Easy to replace

Over time, the original sponge may wear out, deform, or become permanently soiled. This replacement sponge allows you to easily replace the filter material without having to replace the entire Pond Skim.

Check the sponge regularly and clean it when the flow rate decreases. If the sponge is damaged or heavily worn, replacement is recommended.

Dimensions

A specialist retailer lists the dimensions for this replacement sponge as approximately 22 x 5 x 25 cm. The sponge is custom-made for use in the Pond Skim 2000 and 3000.
